1. "No Paper Detected" Error

Possible Causes:

  • Label not installed correctly

  • Printing surface facing down or misaligned

Solution:
✅ Check Installation:

  • Ensure the label is placed flush to the left side, printing side facing down, and properly threaded through the paper guide.
    ✅ If error persists → Return for factory inspection/repair.

2. "No Gap Detected" or Misaligned Label Feeding

Solution:

  1. Press START to check paper type (confirm if it's gap paper).

  2. If not, press SET UP to switch to gap paper mode.

  3. Press START again → Auto-calibration starts.

  4. Press SET UP to confirm calibration.

  5. Verify if the label stops exactly at the gap position before printing.

3. "No Ribbon Detected" Error

Possible Causes:
① Ribbon chip lifted → Press it down firmly.
② Non-original ribbon (e.g., not PUTY produced for PT-66DC) → Replace with genuine ribbon.
③ New ribbon still not detected → Return for factory repair.

4. Paper Not Feeding

Possible Cause:

  • Foreign object stuck in gear mechanism

Solution:
✅ Check printing environment and remove any debris blocking the gears.

5. No Power / Charging Failure / No Paper or Ribbon Detection

Possible Cause:

  • Moisture/water damage corroding motherboard components

Solution:
✅ If the printer won’t charge → Return to factory for inspection (include the adapter).

6. DC Port Damage (Due to Rough Handling)

Issue:

  • Torn copper pads from forceful charger insertion → Irreversible damage

Solution:
✅ Return to factory for repair.

7. "Ribbon Exhausted" Alert

Explanation:

  • Ribbons have a built-in counter that triggers "exhausted" alert after preset length.

  • 1-2m remaining is normal (extra length from manufacturing)

  • Never manually rewind ribbon - this disrupts the counter and causes false alerts

Solution:
✅ This is normal operation - replace with new ribbon

Troubleshooting:

  1. Try new ribbon → if problem resolves: original ribbon was defective

  2. If persists with new ribbon → Return the printer to factory for inspection (include the adapter)

9. Bluetooth Connection Issues


Step-by-Step Fix:
① Disconnect from previous devices first
② Restart both printer and app
③ Reinstall the APP or software
④ If still failing → possible bluetooth module failure
⑤ Verify software compatibility (only official apps guaranteed to work)


10. No Printing Output

Check:
① ribbon actually runs out or not ?
② label paper installed correctly or not ? (Printing side must face down)


11. Ribbon & Labels Eject Together

Root Causes:
① Label adhesive leaking onto ribbon
② Take-up spool too tight (mechanical issue)

Solution:
✅ For ①: Clean adhesive residue
✅ For ②:  Return the printer to factory for inspection and repair (include the adapter)


12. Frozen /Crashed/Unresponsive Printer

Emergency Reset:

  • Locate RESET pinhole near USB port

  • Use toothpick to press for 3 seconds

  • Printer will reboot

If persists: May indicate mainboard failure requiring service
